Peranaq Edge was established in 2019 at a time when discussions about artificial intelligence were becoming more frequent in boardrooms across Singapore, but the gap between strategic interest and operational readiness remained significant. Our founders — a team with backgrounds spanning data science, organisational learning, and enterprise consulting — saw an opportunity to bridge that gap in a way that respected both the complexity of AI and the realities of how organisations actually function.
The name draws on the Peranakan tradition of thoughtful integration — of bringing together different influences and making something that is coherent, refined, and distinctly suited to its context. That philosophy shapes how we approach every engagement. We do not promote a single AI platform or vendor. We do not advocate for acceleration simply because the technology exists. Instead, we help organisations ask the right questions, understand their constraints honestly, and build AI capability that will last.
